When it comes to lawn striping short cut lawns, you have to add more weight. If you are using a rotary mower or a manual reel mower you won’t be able to weight it down enough. So an easy alternative is to use a lawn roller.
If you have the cash you could always upgrade to a greens mower which will have the weight and rollers necessary for striping short lawns.
