With the warm weather the urge to aerate and overseed in the spring is high. Spring lawn care can be amazingly fun after a long winter. But overseeding in the spring isn’t the best time to seed!
The best time to aerate and overseed is actually in the fall. Some instances overseeding in the spring is worth the risk, but for most people proper fertilizing and watering is all that’s necessary. Then in the fall a good aerate and overseed will produce better results.
