One of the cool things about Kentucky Bluegrass are the Rhizomes. To me, this is the magic of KBG. The grass will send out rhizomes to fill in bare spots giving you a tightly knit lawn without having to keep starting the process over from grass seed.
Every time I go and inspect the lawn I’m finding more kentucky bluegrass rhizomes that are filling in new spots, and the existing grass is getting thicker and thicker. It really is amazing.
My lawn is made from Bewitched, Blue Velvet, and Prosperity varieties of Kentucky Bluegrass from SeedSuperStore.com! They have a cool custom blend maker tool that I used to get that specific blend.
