Mulch mowing leaves in the fall with the Honda HRX217 is a breeze. I personally will mow once a week until all the leaves fall, and then I’ll double/triple mow once they are all down to turn them into tiny confetti.
Mulch mowing leaves is GREAT for the soil and for the lawn. Studies show you can mulch mow 6 inches of leaves into the lawn every week without causing problems with the lawn. They also proved that the ph of the soil doesn’t change as a result. So you get the benefit of composting materials in the soil!
